In May/June, KEEN Task Force members identified three sump holes in Weedpatch/Lamont blocked by lots of trash. Kern County Code Enforcement cleaned up two of the three sump holes already. The Task Force will discuss the status of the third sump hole (in Lamont at entrance to Alicante Ave behind the McDonald's on Main St) at the July 3 Task Force meeting. All concerns about sump holes in Weedpatch/Lamont should be reported to Kern County Code Enforcement at 661-862-8603 and then reported to KEEN for tracking purposes.
