Recurring warehouse fires in East Bakersfield, documentation to share

I'm a Kern County resident reaching out about a recurring industrial fire problem I've been documenting at 120 Washington St / East Brundage Ln in Bakersfield, a warehouse complex that has burned repeatedly since 2024, most recently again in 2026, each time producing heavy smoke over the surrounding community.

Through public records, I've traced the property to an absentee owner (Big Washington LLC, based in Fullerton, with a management entity in Santa Fe, NM), confirmed multiple fires and a lack of visible remediation between them, and found the ownership group is currently in active federal litigation over unrelated business disputes. I've filed a Public Records Act request with Kern County and complaints with the Valley Air District, CalRecycle, and DTSC.
