Rotten eggs on Panama

Description:
I drove from HWY 184 towards Fairfax and smelled strong rotten egg smell. I saw one of the tanks near the fence with the silver hatch on top open. I had my AC on when I drove by and the smell was very strong when I was closer to weedpatch

During the April 2, 2025 Kern IVAN Taskforce Meeting, Air District staff stated the complaint came in at 4:50, with the inspector responding at 5:25. The inspector detected an asphalt-based odor but that was the only odor detected. There was a small asphalt lane operation on the West side just outside the gate. No monitoring equipment was used.
